Nice to meet you! When I graduated from law school, I had no clue what I wanted to do. I decided not to follow the beaten career path and instead of becoming a lawyer, judge or prosecutor I followed my heart and found my dream job as a content creator at a large multinational where I’m learning how to play the corporate office game.
The past couple of years I’ve been on a steap learning curve, trying to balance a career, social life and quality me-time. On this blog I will share my thoughts, stories and advice on how to gain focus, becoming your best self and fullfilling your potential in a down-to-earth way. I’d love for you to come with me on this journey. Are you ready?
Why I started this blog
Your twenties can be pretty overwhelming and it can be really difficult to keep up with the fact-paced world we’re living in.
Especially during those times that you feel stressed and overwhelmed it’s so important to take a step back, reflect and find your balance again.
On Follow the Millennial I share the experiences, learnings and tools that help me to gain focus, become my best self and fulfill my potential. All in a down-to-earth way.
I hope you will take something away from reading my blog, no matter how small. And if you do, would you please let me know? I’d love to hear from you!

More about me
I’m passionate about helping like-minded millennials gain focus, become their best self and develop a more intentional lifestyle. When I’m not writing, you’ll probably find me cooking, watching Netflix, taking a walk at the beach, reading a novel or enjoying a cappuccino. I adore the simple things in life but I’m also not averse to a touch of luxury.
Home for me is the Netherlands, where I live in a city apartment close to the beach with my boyfriend and our ginger and tabby cats.
I’m an Aquarius. I’m a dreamer and a good listener. I overthink things way more than I should and I always look for the best in everyone I meet.
I graduated from law school in 2013. I recently started a postgraduate in journalism and I hope to have my degree in the pocket by 2019!
